Departure to winter Wonder land
Morning: Depart from either Tokyo or Osaka via Shinkansen (bullet train) to Yamagata Station or Domestic Flight to Yamagata Airport(GAJ).
Afternoon: Upon arrival at Yamagata Station or Yamahata Airport, a private vehicle will be waiting for your transfer to Zao Onsen. Check into your traditional ryokan or hotel and settle in.
Evening: Enjoy a relaxing soak in the famous acidic hot springs of Zao Onsen, known for their skin-beautifying properties.

*Upon request/Available only on designated dates9:00 AM - 1:00 PM: Embark on a snow hike using unique snowshoe-skis. Your guide will lead you through the stunning scenery to the renowned Zao "Snow Monsters" (Juhyo) – trees covered in thick layers of ice and snow. The views from the mountain top are truly breathtaking.
Afternoon: Return to your accommodation. You will have free time to explore the charming Zao Onsen village, which is dotted with public bathhouses, souvenir shops, and restaurants.
Evening: Enjoy a delicious and authentic Japanese dinner and unwind in the onsen, soothing any tired muscles from your day of skiing or hiking.
NOTE: Routes, times, etc. may change depending on the weather.
Zao Onsen Ski Resort
Morning/Afternoon: Head to the Zao Onsen Ski Resort. Spend the day skiing or snowboarding on its extensive range of slopes for all levels.
Optional: Ski/snowboard gear and wear rentals can be arranged upon request. Ski lessons are also available for all levels.

Lunch: Enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants on the slopes, offering local specialties and warm refreshments.
Optional: Take the Zao Ropeway to the summit for an incredible panoramic view. In the evening, you can also witness the spectacular light-up of the snow monsters.

Nightcruiser tour
*Upon request/Available only on designated dates.Riding on the specialized new model snow vehicle “Nightcruiser,” equipped with heating, you can experience the night spectacle of the lighted Snow Monsters (Juhyo).
Yamagata Station/Yamagata Airport
Morning: Enjoy one last relaxing soak in the onsen and a final Japanese breakfast.
Late Morning: Check out of your accommodation. A private vehicle will pick you up for your transfer back to Yamagata Station or Yamagata Airport.
Afternoon: Depart from Yamagata via Shinkansen or Domestic Flight for your next city.
