Arrival at Tokyo

Upon arrival, proceed through customs and meet your driver just outside the exit gate, they will be holding an “All Japan Tours” sign for easy visibility. Proceed to your hotel by private car. Upon arrival at the hotel, you will be free for leisure.

Tokyo

Start your tour at the Tsukiji Outer Market, where you can sample fresh produce and food-related goods.

Next, visit the scenic Hamarikyu Garden, featuring seawater ponds that change with the tides.

Board a Sumida River Cruise for views of the city’s skyline and bridges. In Asakusa, visit the Asakusa Kannon Temple, home to Japan's largest paper lantern. Explore the historic Nakamise Market, a traditional shopping street right by the temple.

Then, head to Akihabara, the hub of anime and manga culture. Optionally, add a Sushi-making experience, where you'll create and enjoy your own sushi for lunch!

Tokyo

Start by enjoying the natural atmosphere of the Meiji Shrine, dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken.

Stroll through Takeshita Street in Harajuku, known for its unique fashion, alongside more conventional items. Next, visit Omotesando Avenue, a stylish, tree-lined boulevard in Aoyama.

In Shibuya, experience the famous Shibuya Crossing, take pictures with the Hachiko statue, and enjoy shopping.

You’ll then have two options:

  1. Enjoy panoramic views of Shinjuku from the Metropolitan Government Building's observation decks at 202 meters (663ft), or

  2. Explore the Shinjuku Samurai Museum, featuring samurai armor and swords.

day-4

Tokyo - Hakone

Travel to the land at the base of Mt. Fuji, where we will board a Lake Ashi Cruise to enjoy and appreciate Hakone’s natural scenery.

We will take a 20-minute ropeway ride from Togendai to Owakudani. Along the ride, weather permitting, you’ll get great views of Mt. Fuji in the distance.

While in Owakudani, visitors can see hot springs and sulfurous fumes along the trails of an active volcanic zone.

Tonight, relax in the Onsen hot spring and enjoy a traditional kaiseki dinner at your hotel.

We will courier your big baggage from Tokyo to your hotel in Kyoto. Please pack your essentials for 2 nights in a small bag to carry with you to Hakone.

Today, you will be free for leisure to explore Hakone on your own. Your Hakone free pass will allow you to travel to most sites freely.

Hakone - Kyoto

Make your way to Odawara Station via hotel shuttle bus and board the bullet train to Kyoto – bullet train tickets included.

Upon arrival at Kyoto Station, make your way to your hotel on foot.

The afternoon will be free for leisure time to explore at your own pace.

Kyoto

Tour the historic city of Kyoto, beginning with the Fushimi Inari Shrine, renowned for its trail of thousands of torii gates. From there, head to the Fushimi Sake District – known for its clear waters and home to over 40 traditional sake breweries. Kiyomizu-dera, a famous temple in Japan that is best known for its large wooden stage that overlooks a hillside of natural scenery.

We will end our day in the Gion Geisha District, where its streets are lined with ochaya (teahouses), exclusive establishments where guests are entertained by Geisha and Maiko.

If you choose, you can also add the following optional experiences. One such experience is to try on the traditional garment of Kimono. Many visitors to Kyoto will wear a Kimono for the day to complete the traditional atmosphere that the city is known for. You can also experience a Green Tea Ceremony, Rickshaw ride, Zen meditation in a temple with local monks, or a Kaiseki dinner with a Geisha performance.

Kyoto

Begin your tour at Nijo Castle, a designated UNESCO world heritage site and a perfect architectural example of castles from the feudal era of Japan. Visit Kinkaku-ji, the Golden Pavilion, so known because it is covered with 18-karat gold leaf. Then we will tour the Arashiyama district. First is a visit to see Tenryuji Temple where you can catch a glimpse of the traditional rock landscape garden design.

Then proceed through a dense bamboo grove, past several small shrines, tea shops and private houses before arriving at the Togetsukyo Bridge over Hozu River. If you choose to add it to your itinerary, you will be able to enjoy the charming, old-fashioned trains of the Sagano Scenic Railway as you right through the mountains and take in the beautiful scenery.

You may also choose to add a flat- bottomed boat cruise along the Hozugawa River where get a unique view of Arashiyama’s natural beauty.

Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto

We will travel to Nara and visit the Isuien Garden. This is a traditional Japanese Garden with a scenic view structured using “shakkei” or borrowed scenery, fusing the background with the trees within the area.

Then, we visit one of Japan’s most famous temples and a landmark of Nara, Todaiji Temple. Outside the temple, interact with the wild deer of Nara Deer Park. There are special deer crackers available at every corner of the area.

Our last destination for the day will be Kasuga Grand Shrine, the family shrine for the powerful Fujiwara clan during the Nara and Heian periods, with unique architectural traits and an area filled with various styled lamps. You may also want to add a Bamboo Chasen (tea whisk) making experience to this day to further your understanding of traditional Japanese culture and crafts.

Kyoto - Osaka (Itami Airport) - Ishigaki Island

After breakfast, you will be free for leisure until your transfer to Itami Airport for your domestic flight to Ishigaki Island. Upon arrival, make your way to your hotel on your own.

Ishigaki Island

Today, you're free to explore Ishigaki Island at your leisure. As Japan’s southernmost city, Ishigaki offers numerous restaurants, shops, and bars. The island is also home to picturesque beaches with coral reefs, perfect for snorkeling and diving.

One of the island's highlights is the large number of Manta Rays at Manta Scramble. Enjoy the stunning beaches, local food, and breathtaking views on one of Japan's most beautiful islands!
