Kyoto -Bullet Train Ride - Hakone
After checking out from your hotel, take the Shinkansen and head straight to Hakone.

Join us to visit the beautiful mountain resort town of Hakone. Nestled in the mountains, Hakone is a place of natural and artistic wonders.
Hakone is known as the real-life setting for the anime “Neon Genesis Evangelion.” In the series, the city is depicted as Tokyo-3, the headquarters of NERV. Fans visit Hakone to see familiar landscapes and special Evangelion-themed shop.
Visit Owakudani to see the ever-rising sulfurous gasses from the active volcano that provides heat to the many hot springs nearby. Try the area’s famous black-boiled eggs; turned black and infused with the minerals from the spring. Ride the ropeway down the mountain to Lake Ashinoko for a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. Sail across the lake to visit the Torii gate by the Kuzuryu shrine to the area’s 9-headed dragon deity. If you are an art fan, try visiting one of the many art museums in Hakone.
Hakone → Tokyo
Take a private transfer to Odawara station for Shinkansen and get off at Shinagawa Station.
Please make your own way to the hotel (Around at 15min. via Taxi Applox. 25-30 USD) near Tokyo Big Sight, the venue for AnimeJapan.
Once you arrive, the rest of the day is free for you to explore.
From nearby Ariake Station on the Yurikamome Line, you can easily access Odaiba, home to the life-sized Gundam statue, the Gundam Base Tokyo café and museum, and the indoor amusement park Tokyo Joypolis.
Tokyo Big Sight
AnimeJapan is one of the biggest annual anime conventions, held at Tokyo Big Sight in Ariake. Thousands of fans attend to see major companies like Toei Animation, Aniplex, and Bandai Visual showcase upcoming projects. Large booths feature live shows, creator appearances, and interviews, while the exhibit hall is packed with displays, freebies, and impressive setups. Outside, cosplayers gather for photos and fan meetups, making it a must-see event for anime lovers.

We require a NON-Refundable US$200 deposit per person to hold the space at the time of booking and the final payment is due 2 months prior to departure.

Arrival Departure Airports
For arrivals at Narita Airport (NRT), this tour starts in Tokyo and ends in Sapporo, with departures at New Chitose Airport (CTS).
If you will be flying into Haneda Airport (HND) instead of Narita Airport (NRT) on the first day, airport transfer is not included. We will provide with full instructions to get to the hotel in advance, or we can arrange shared shuttle service for you at US$60.00 per person per way.
