A picturesque spot especially in spring, Hanamiyama Park is adorned with a spectacular display of cherry blossoms, plum blossoms, and other flowering trees. This floral paradise, initially started by local farmers, has become a symbol of Fukushima’s beauty and recovery.

This restored post town from the Edo period gives a glimpse into historical Japan. Thatched-roof houses line the main street, now filled with shops and eateries serving traditional fare, including the famous negi soba where diners use a leek as chopsticks.
