2:00 PM: Sanjo Kaji Dojo (Blacksmithing & shop)
Letter opener making experience from a nail.
The world of the blacksmith is not just hitting (forging) technology, also including a unique technique of producing iron and steel from iron sand and coal, such as heat treatment, grinding, polishing, and sharpening, a very diverse range. In nail making, however, it is molded by only the striking of the hammer, the letter opener made by hammering, grinding, and the experience of polishing, you can savor the refined taste of the blacksmiths world.

Rankeisou's kaiseki cuisine is packed with seasonal mountain village ingredients. Enjoy the delicious flavors of wild plants, rice, and vegetables that grow on the plateau, rich with meltwater. River fish dishes are also unique to Rankeisou, which is located by a mountain stream. In particular, the carp sashimi, which has grown in a clear stream, has no unpleasant smell and is a dish that you should definitely try.
